I wholly loved the book, "Beyond the Moment." Jean has a way of bringing out the emotions of the characters, to bring out their personalities so that everybody came to life. You could feel what they felt. Through the descriptions your mind's eye could see the beauty of the sunsets, the sunrises, and the beauty of the countryside. I loved how Mark found his father, and how everything came to a wonderful conclusion. This book is worth reading. It is a good evangelistic tool to give as a gift to an unsaved loved one.

Very Encouraging and Captivating... |

I just finished reading this book. I am not normally a fiction reader, but this book captured me. The way that the author puts words together and sets up the story brought me into the lives of the people and I felt like I knew them. I think apart of me did as I read the journey of the main person Mark. He walks out a life of relationship with the Lord and it is not always perfect. The story takes twists and turns just like real life for us. He at times got far away from the Lord, made some mistakes and realized it...made it right with others and restored his relationship with the Lord. I was very encouraged by this book. It might just be a perfect escape from the challenges of actual life to gain some tips or insights from the life of another. Just as the Bible is filled with the ups and downs of others, this book is too. Very well written. I highly recommend this book...relax, have a cup coffee, and enjoy the read...

"Beyond the Moment" is really good. I greatly enjoyed reading it. I read it in two days, and I don't read books.
