This is definitely an interesting tale with a title that foreshadows the book’s story beautifully. When worker bees return to the hive and have found a new location of flowers, they do a dance to show where other bees can find it. This dance is a bee’s form of communication and with out it a hive wouldn’t be able to prosper. In the book communication is key when the hive is attacked and it is realized that something needs to change in order for the hive to survive. Change is always a challenge for any age group. As kids it’s easier for us to deal with it, but as we grow older we tend to forget that some times it is for the best, especially when we get stuck in our ways. This story teaches the reader a valuable life lesson through the eyes of bees. I highly recommend this book to any age group and background, as any one can take something away from it.

April 20, 2012 No one likes change; everyone loves to keep things simple by doing them the same way. Learning to accept change can be hard and most people are never taught how to accept new ideas. Having an open mind and listening to new idea isn’t an easy task. By read “Dance of the Bees,†A fable written by Dr. Allen Wachter, you learn the skills needed to accept change. Go on an exciting adventure with Keeper, General, Queen and the whole bee family in trying to trick the honey badger, Ratel from destroying their hive again. M. Woolsey

What a wonderful story , heartwarming and leaves you with the knowledge that change is an important part of our lives, and the clear message God gives us, that our lives are all about change, it may be painful at times but the blessing are great. That change is an opportunity to grow, well done. I would recommend it for sure.
