I saw this guy give a talk and I appreciate his time staking effort to translate th Song of Songs for us,,praise God! I am excited to read this so I can enter a deep revelation of our Bridegrooms longing for us!!!

Revelation pops from every stanza of this poetic life-dance between the ardent Shepherd-King and the Shulamite like the tart and juicy seeds of the pomegranate. With delight, we see the shy and uncertain Bride embrace her Bridegroom and ultimately, her self as she becomes what He sees her to be. New life comes to 1 Corinthians 13:12 - "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." I'm compelled to revisit Song of Songs The Journey of the Bride with new eyes.
Here a portion of the Word of God which is often relegated to pre-marital counseling and therefore neglected is re-birthed to become a favored passage. This translation makes me want to shout to all the despondent wanderers listlessly hoping for true love and purpose, Here! Here you are in these pages! Read His piercing truth of you, and live!
