I am just finishing up this book and I highly recommend it to everyone with all different life experiences. If you have not walked through all of the many situations that Melissa experienced in her life, you will most likely connect to at least one of them. You will also possibly gain new insight into the lives and struggles of people around you. This book gets into your heart. I feel as if I know Melissa personally. It is a journey of her life and questions through all...abuse, rape, drugs, cutting, single mom, waiting for a husband from God, divorce of parents, death of a mom, church family, life, life, life. It might not be exactly your life, but you will connect and ride the journey with her and find your own hope as she did. Easy to read and understand. She endured and grew in God through the struggles, grief, and guilt...She found Jesus in the journey. Great book!!

This book is amazing!!! You can look at a person and never know what their life was like growing up! I have to say I had several emotions while reading this book. I cried and laughed and rejoiced that God brought Melissa through all the terrible things in her younger years! And to know that she has a marriage that is a wonderful one. I didn't know Melissa before 2006. I can tell you she dose not reflect her past. She is a wonderful caring and compassionate person. I recommend this book to people who think that you can not be forgiven or change. She is living proof that it can be done. Through Christ!!!
